Doc is a cybersecurity consultant, instructor, and practitioner focused on making cyber defense practical, understandable, and useful. His work spans governance, risk management, incident response, vendor risk, security policy development, and hands-on defensive education for organizations that need security guidance grounded in real operational realities.
As an educator, Doc is especially interested in helping new and developing cybersecurity professionals learn how defenders think. Through consulting, course development, labs, and public education, he works to make complex security topics more approachable without watering them down. His broader mission is to make the world a safer place from threat actors through consulting, education, advocacy, and mentorship.
